Visit the fragrant floral market at Pakklong Talad on your second day here. Sail along the river and klongs on a traditional long-tail boat as you become a part of the city’s lifeblood. Explore the Royal Barge Museum where you’ll see a number of teak and gold vessels that were once used for royal processions and grand ceremonies along the Chao Phraya River.

Your third day will be mostly consist of visiting the most iconic temples in the city. Visit the Grand Palace; a compound of ceremonial halls, gilded spires and ornate buildings that dates back to 1782. After you stroll through the historic glamour and charm of the Old Kingdom of Siam, Bangkok’s Giant Swing is next. Spend the rest of your day exploring Bangkok at your own pace, tasting delectable street food and mingling with the locals.

Ratchaburi, set on the banks of the Mae Klong River is located 75 miles west of Bangkok. From a visit to the Railway Market to taking a paddle boat ride along the canal to Damnoen Saduak floating market, you’ll get a glimpse of Thailand’s unique lifestyle. A quick visit to a local palm sugar workshop and a coconut farm are also included before we take you back to the city.
